Community

Siteframe encourages the growth of online communities by allowing members to upload and edit site content such as pictures, articles, links, and files.

Members can optionally comment and rate site content and communicate with one another via email.

You can keep in touch with regular newsletters automatically generated by the website.

Content

Siteframe automatically takes care of sizing images appropriately and creating thumbnails.

The site administrator determines the kinds and types of content that will be supported.

Different types of content can be linked to one another by using simple macros.

Management

Siteframe allows you to design the appearance of your website by separating content from presentation. Pages can be designed using any HTML editor and a simple set of replacement templates for content.

You can change the appearance of any page or message generated by Siteframe by simply editing the appropriate template.

Release 3.2.2

The latest release of Siteframe, Release 3.2.2, is now available. This release contains fixes to allow Siteframe to work under PHP5 and some (more) bug fixes to allow for secure operation when PHP's "set_global" option is OFF (the recommended setting). This release is mandatory if you're using PHP5, and recommended for others. This release contains fixes for the known Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) Vulnerability.

SECURITY ADVISORY

Siteframe releases prior to 3.2.1 have security holes that could leave your site vulnerable. Please see Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) Vulnerability for information on the problem and manual fixes you can make without the need to install software updates. You can be informed of future product releases and security announcements by subscribing to the siteframe-announce newsletter at http://siteframe.org/mailman/listinfo/siteframe-announce.
